Fairy Tales For Today

Jack Zipes is a retired U of M professor who had done scholarly work on fairy tales. He has authored more than 40 books on the subject, most recently a re-telling of the Russian tale of Fearless Ivan and His Faithful Horse. His other works include: Tales of Wonder: Retelling Fairy Tales through Picture Postcards (Minnesota, 2017); The Brothers Grimm: From Enchanted Forests to the Modern World; Breaking the Magic Spell: Radical Theories of Folk and Fairy Tales; and Happily Ever After: Fairy Tales, Children, and the Culture Industry.
