Class Description

We’ll discuss plants that grow all around us that make great oils, their uses and how to prepare them for topical application.  Everyone will go home with a sample salve and freshly gathered herbal material to make medicinal oil at home. In preparation for the fall's medicinal root harvest, we will cover the therapeutic uses of some of our beloved, weedy roots and how to prepare them as tinctures.  We will also take a short herb and plant walk in the park.
