Sudden Cardiac Arrest can happen to anyone, anytime, anyplace and at any age.  And, when it does happen, it is almost always fatal unless people take action. Learn the life-saving skills of CPR and how to use an automatic external defibrillator (AED) with confidence on November 17, 7:30 pm at the Center for Fathering.

The Minneapolis South Rotary Club wants our community to be prepared to assist someone with sudden cardiac arrest or a heart attack. One of our valued club members is a sudden cardiac arrest survivor, so this opportunity to train people means a lot to our club.

This one-hour, hands-on course will go over the basics needed to help someone whose heart has stopped. Learn the difference between a "heart attack" and Sudden Cardiac Arrest and what to do in both instances.

The class is taught by qualified CPR/AED trainers. This is not a certification course; it is for CPR/AED competency. There will be hands-on practice with mannequins and AEDs.

The class will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 17, at 7:30 pm at the Center for Fathering (3023 4th Ave. S).
